William Brown Poetry

About Me
Hey there. I'm William Brown, a poet who grew up in rural Georgia. I work as an editor for Gasher Press, earned my MFA in poetry from the University of Florida, and am currently finishing my PhD at Texas Tech University. I'm interested in analyzing poetry from rural spaces, as opposed to only "southern" spaces, to see what similarities and differences arise when looking at poets such as Les Murray writing out of Australia, Karen Solie out of Canada, BH Fairchild out of the Midwest, David Bottoms out of my home state, and more.
